🏔️ COBBLEVERSE 1.6: The Road to Sinnoh

This is the first major wave of content for the Sinnoh region, introducing all new gyms and core progression mechanics.

✨ New Contents & Features

• Sinnoh League is OPEN!
  • Added all 8 Sinnoh Gyms and the Sinnoh League structure
  • New Advancements for the Sinnoh region, including an updated Advancements background and a larger, improved screen
  • Added 8 new Sinnoh Badges and 1 exclusive Champion Trophy
• Sinnoh Progression Tools:
  • Added the Sinnoh Cartography Table and the Sinnoh Map Guide for map acquisition
  • New Sinnoh Dialogues added for all trainers
  • Added the Sinnoh Datapack. To enable it, players who have completed the Hoenn League can use the command: /function help:sinnoh_setup
• New Items & Mechanics:
  • Bottle Caps are now available, exclusively sold at the Sinnoh League
  • The Sinnoh Gym Leader, Corrado, and the Champion, Camilla (Cynthia), now drop a Bottle Cap as special loot (only the first time you defeat them)
  • Added the crafting recipe for the Minecraft Bundle

🗺️ League & World Progression

• League Merchants & Assistance:
  • Trainer Association NPCs added to all Leagues to facilitate region/series changes after defeating the Champion
  • League Merchants added to all Leagues, selling special Poké Dolls (including Shiny Dolls)
  • The TM Archivist in Department Stores now sells 5 TMs per Type
• Automatic Spawns:
  • New automatic spawning system for Elite Four members and Champions implemented in previous Leagues (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn), removing the need for a button or item
• General League Improvements:
  • The Hoenn League structure is now lighter and less prone to causing lag
• Book Updates:
  • All Champion reward books have been updated for increased clarity and now feature the shortcut command /function help:*region-name*_book for easy retrieval

🪄 Fixes & Balance

• Secondary Trainers are now "Series-less", meaning they can be challenged at any point in the adventure as long as the player's Pokémon levels are appropriate
• Loot & Items:
  • Loot rebalanced, with new locations assigned for Griseous Core/Orb and Prison Bottle
  • Added crafting recipes for all new LumyMon items
• Pokémon Spawns & Balance:
  • Mega Lucario parameters have been fixed
  • The following Pokémon spawn parameters have been adjusted (removed "urban" tag where necessary): Drampa, Snubbull, Granbull, Happiny, Chansey, Blissey, Skitty, Delcatto, Glameow, Purugly, Okidogi, and Galarian Birds
  • Spawn Multiplier x3 implemented for Entei (day), Suicune (rain), and Raikou (thunder)
• Visual Fixes:
  • Fixed shiny textures for Darmanitan and Darumaka
  • New Sinnoh Trainer skins added, and the Bruno skin has been fixed

This release marks Part I of the Sinnoh Update. It includes the Gyms and League. Part II, which will feature the dedicated structures for the Sinnoh Legendaries (Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Giratina, etc.), will be arriving soon in a future update!

• Mega Evolution is now available for: Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja, Hawlucha, Malamar, and Raichu (X and Y forms)
• New Models have been added for: Volcanion and Miraidon
• Added two new attack effectiveness messages: "Mostly Ineffective" and "Extremely Effective" (4x)
• Cosplay Pikachu can now be evolved
• The starter Pikachu from the Pallet Region is now a Cosplay Pikachu. You can use the Pika Case item to apply special costumes
  • (Note: Evolving Pichu into Pikachu will result in a regular, non-Cosplay Pikachu)

🗺️ World Generation & Loot Changes

• Pokémon Villages Spawn Rate has been increased
• Ash Cap is now located in Ash's room and is no longer dropped by Ash after defeating him. He now have a chance to drop Pika Cases, various TMs, and the Light Ball
• Village Waystones (located outside of the Poké Centers) will now receive a random, Pokémon-themed name upon activation
• Loot has been rebalanced in villages and other structures
• Original Color Magearna can now spawn naturally in Taiga biomes

• Rocket Armor is no longer consumed when used on Mewtwo
• The natural spawn areas for several Pokémon have been fixed/changed:
  • Diancie now spawns exclusively in Lush Caves
  • Smeargle now spawns only during the day
  • Iron Jugulis, Volcanion and Tornadus spawn points adjusted
• Fixed the player riding position for: Ho-Oh, Lycanroc, Arceus, Eternatus Eternamax, Volcanion and Miraidon.
• Trainer Spawners are no longer craftable
• Regieleki, Regidrago, and Regigigas no longer spawn in a structure but will spawn naturally in the world (This is a temporary fix for a bug until their new dedicated structures and altars are ready)

HAVE FUN! 🥰

This update introduces the new Megas announced by The Pokémon Company, which will be available in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, releasing on October 16th, 2025 (just in time for my birthday!)

Since they might not be 100% balanced yet, the Mega Stones are not craftable by default. If you wish to enable the recipes, please download the necessary datapack available on our Discord in the #add-ons section. There, you can also find tons of other extra content created by our wonderful community!

This is a "minor" update, but due to health reasons, we had to pause development for a few weeks. Fear not, however: work on Sinnoh has resumed, and the Gen 4 Gyms will arrive in COBBLEVERSE v1.6, followed by structures for all Sinnoh Legendaries (Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Giratina, etc.). Thank you all for your patience and understanding!

The new update is already live on Apex Hosting, so if you want to jump right into multiplayer with your friends or update your existing server, you can do so now!

IMPORTANT! DON'T SKIP THIS: Update the modpack, launch the game, go to your in-game Resource Packs menu, then hold T for at least 3 seconds and, after that, click Done.

✨ NEW FEATURES

• Added the Omni Ring from Pokémon Champions, which combines Tera Orb, Mega Bracelet, Dynamax Band and Z-Ring
• Added Cosplay Pikachu: Belle, PhD, Pop Star, Rock Star, and Libre, along with the Pika Case

IMPORTANT: Since the stats for Mega Dragonite and Mega Victreebel are hypothetical and based on speculation, they may not be correct or balanced. Therefore, it is not currently possible to craft Dragonitite and Victreebelite. However, for those interested in crafting them, we have a datapack that adds the crafting recipes on our Discord in the add-ons section.

• Ash's House will now generate more frequently
• Reduced the generation frequency of Pokémon villages (since we can't yet modify the loot as we would like, we have directly reduced the number of villages you will encounter)

🏛️ NEW LEGENDARY & MYTHICAL STRUCTURES

• Added a new COBBLEVERSE-exclusive structure for Glastrier: the Crown Spire, where it is possible to summon it with a new special mechanic
• Added a new COBBLEVERSE-exclusive structure for Spectrier: the Crown Cemetery, where you can awaken it using a new special item
• The incomplete Calyrex statue can now be found in the Crown Spire and Crown Cemetery. Find the Calyrex Crown and place it on the statue, then the King of Bountiful Harvests shall return
• Added the Dusk Tower and Dawn Tower where you can find Necrozma Dusk-Mane and Necrozma Dawn-Wings respectively, replacing the old (and impossible to fix) Ultra Necrozma tower
• Added a new COBBLEVERSE-exclusive structure for Deoxys in the End, available after unlocking the Hoenn region

🗺️ SPAWNS & DATAPACKS OVERHAUL

• Spawn locations and cries have been added for the entire Wurmple line: Wurmple, Silcoon, Beautifly, Cascoon, and Dustox.
• Keldeo now spawns naturally in the world. We will revisit its mechanics along with the Unova update (Gen 5)
• Total Datapack Reorganization: For sustainable long-term maintenance, all additional Pokémon datapacks have been removed.
  • We have recreated the spawn pools and species data from the base Cobblemon mod, integrating and balancing them. This major reorganization, which took a significant amount of time, simplifies future maintenance and bug-fixing
