Custom Leather Armor
You can dye leather armor, but it has no practical use, which is why I made this data pack that gives all 16 main colored leather armors unique abilities (only works for armors that have one dye).
After loading the data pack, type /trigger ability in chat to get the ability item used for active abilities.
Abilities
White Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Active Ability: Spawns 1 cow (60 seconds cooldown)
 
- 2 pieces:
- Active Ability: Spawns 2 cows (45 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Active Ability: Spawns 4 cows (30 seconds cooldown)
 
- 4 pieces:
- Cures all effects
- Active Ability: Spawns 8 cows (15 seconds cooldown)
 
Orange Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Gives Fire Resistance
- Active Ability: Spawns a fireball (60 seconds cooldown)
 
- 2 pieces:
- Gives Fire Resistance
- Gives a 1x1 fire trail
- Active Ability: Spawns a fireball (50 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Gives Fire Resistance
- Gives a 3x3 fire trail
- Active Ability: Spawns a fireball (40 seconds cooldown)
 
- 4 pieces:
- Gives Fire Resistance
- Gives a 5x5 fire trail that turns lava into basalt
- Active Ability: Spawns a fireball (30 seconds cooldown)
 
Magenta Armor:
- Is enchanted with Protection IV, Unbreaking III and Mending when held in main hand
Light Blue Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Gives 3 additional armor points
 
- 2 pieces:
- Gives 6 additional armor points
 
- 3 pieces:
- Gives 9 additional armor points
 
- 4 pieces:
- Gives 13 additional armor points
 
Yellow Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Gives Speed I
- Gives Haste I
 
- 2 pieces:
- Gives Speed II
- Gives Haste IV
 
- 3 pieces:
- Gives Speed II
- Gives Haste VII
 
- 4 pieces:
- Gives Speed II
- Gives Haste XXI
 
Lime Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Wooden Swords in main hand get enchanted with Looting III
 
- 2 pieces:
- Wooden and Stone Swords in main hand get enchanted with Looting III
 
- 3 pieces:
- Wooden, Stone, Iron and Gold Swords in main hand get enchanted with Looting III
 
- 4 pieces:
- All Swords in main hand get enchanted with Looting III
 
Pink Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Active Ability: Gives Regeneration I for 10 seconds (25 seconds cooldown)
 
- 2 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives Regeneration II for 10 seconds (22.5 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives Regeneration III for 10 seconds (20 seconds cooldown)
 
- 4 pieces:
- Gives passive Regeneration I
- Active Ability: Gives Regeneration IV for 10 seconds (15 seconds cooldown)
 
Gray Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Gives Resistance I
- Gives 25 Max Health
 
- 2 pieces:
- Gives Resistance II
- Gives 30 Max Health
- Active Ability: Gives Absorbtion I for 60 seconds (36 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Gives Resistance III
- Gives 35 Max Health
- Active Ability: Gives Absorbtion I for 60 seconds (33 seconds cooldown)

- Gives Resistance IV
- Gives 40 Max Health

- Gives 0.25 Knockback Resistance
- Gives 4 Armor Toughness Knockback Resistance
- Active Ability: Mines out a 3x3x3 area (20 seconds cooldown)
 
- 2 pieces:
- Gives 0.5 Knockback Resistance
- Gives 8 Armor Toughness Knockback Resistance
- Active Ability: Mines out a 3x3x3 area (15 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Gives 0.75 Knockback Resistance
- Gives 12 Armor Toughness Knockback Resistance
- Active Ability: Mines out a 5x5x5 area (10 seconds cooldown)

- Gives 1 Knockback Resistance

Cyan Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Active Ability: Gives Resistance CCLV for 1 second, spawns TNT, gives Poison for 8 seonds (7 seconds cooldown)
 
- 2 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives Resistance CCLV for 1 second, spawns TNT, gives Poison for 6 seonds (5 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives Resistance CCLV for 1 second, spawns TNT, gives Poison for 4 seonds (3 seconds cooldown)
 
- 4 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives Resistance CCLV for 1 second, spawns TNT, gives Poison for 2 seonds (1 seconds cooldown)
 
Purple Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Active Ability: Gives 1 Ender Pearl (60 seconds cooldown)
 
- 2 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives 2 Ender Pearls (50 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives 3 Ender Pearls (40 seconds cooldown)
 
- 4 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives 4 Ender Pearls, tells distance to nearest Stronghold (30 seconds cooldown)
 
Blue Armor:

- Gives Conduit Power I
 
- 2 pieces:
- Gives Conduit Power I

- Active Ability: Spawns Water on you to block fall damage (5 seconds cooldown)
 
Brown Armor:
- 4 pieces:
- Constantly spawns Dirt below you, allowing you to walk in midair
 
Green Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Spawns vegetation (moss, crimson and warped plants) below you
- Increases your Attack Speed by 1
 
- 2 pieces:
- Spawns vegetation (moss, crimson and warped plants) below you
- Increases your Attack Speed by 2
 
- 3 pieces:
- Spawns vegetation (moss, crimson and warped plants) below you
- Increases your Attack Speed by 3
 
- 4 pieces:
- Spawns vegetation (moss, crimson and warped plants) below you
- Increases your Attack Speed by 4
- Active Ability: Gives Saturation for 1 second (20 seconds cooldown)
 
Red Armor:
- 1 piece:
- Active Ability: Gives Strength I for 10 seconds (25 seconds cooldown)
 
- 2 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives Strength II for 10 seconds (22.5 seconds cooldown)
 
- 3 pieces:
- Active Ability: Gives Strength III for 10 seconds (20 seconds cooldown)
 
- 4 pieces:
- Gives passive Strength I
- Active Ability: Gives Strength IV for 10 seconds (15 seconds cooldown)
 
Black Armor:
- Boots are enchanted with Soul Speed III when held in main hand
- 1 piece:
- Gives all other entities within a 3 block radius Wither II for 1 seconds
- Ash particles appear within that radius
 
- 2 pieces:
- Gives all other entities within a 4 block radius Wither III for 3 seconds
- Ash particles appear within that radius
 
- 3 pieces:
- Gives all other entities within a 5 block radius Wither IV for 5 seconds
- Ash particles appear within that radius
 
- 4 pieces:
- Gives all other entities within a 6 block radius Wither V for 7 seconds
- Ash particles appear within that radius
 
NOTE: When loading this data pack for the first time on your world, you will trigger all abilites at once for a single tick. This only happens once and probably won't kill you, but be careful.
