  • The type of alien added to hives from mob kills is no longer a 50/50 chance between a drone or a runner, but now depends on the type of mob killed.
    • Runner hosts will add runners to the hive's reserves. All other mobs add to the drone count in the hive's reserves.
  • Alien hives no longer grow from mob kills if the mob killed was another alien.
    • This prevents infinite hive wars if multiple enemy hives are near each other.
  • The number of aliens added to hives from mob kills now scales with the killing alien's bonus embryo count gene value.
    • For example if an alien has a bonus embryo count of 2 and it kills a pig, then the hive gains 1 + 2 runner aliens.
  • Eating a chorus fruit while infected with a chestburster now only grants 10% warp gene strength to the chestburster instead of 100%.
    • Warp genes now start off at 10% strength and gain 10% additional strength each generation, up to 100%.
    • Warp gene strength will determine the chance the warp xeno has to teleport.
      • For projectiles, the warp xeno with 10% warp gene strength will have a 10% chance to dodge projectiles, 20% for 20%, and so on up until 100% dodge rate.
      • For any attack, warp xenos previously had a fixed 10% chance to teleport. This is now 1% at 10% warp gene strength, 2% at 20%, and so on up until 10% chance to teleport.
    • Based on player feedback, we decided that the warp gene providing full strength within the first generation was too punishing. We want to allow people to still make warp xenos at full strength, but we don't want warp xenos to be impossible to kill after only a single generation (they are immune to projectiles like bullets at 100% strength!). This patch should be a fair compromise by not punishing players severely for simple chorus fruit usage to save their lives, while also not preventing them from achieving warp xenos with full strength (with a bit more effort and intent).
  • Optimized memory usage whenever direction math is involved in certain features, such as:
    • Power system pathfinding
    • Flamethrower's fire spread
    • Xenomorph vent creation checks
    • Xenomorph vent spawning checks
    • Gene operation decoding on entity load

  • Fixed numerous rendering issues for aliens, predators and marines by upgrading AzureLib.
  • Fixed uranium ingot recipe data name.
  • Fixed irradiated hives growing in size due to mob kills (irradiated hives aren't supposed to grow in size because they are infertile).

  • This is a small patch that updates the required AzureLib version. AzureDoom has been busy grinding away at fixing bugs with AzureLib. Please update to this version if you've experienced any of the following rendering bugs:
    • Marines rendering incorrectly when invisible
    • Marines rendering incorrectly when glowing
    • Armors like the MK50 not rendering correctly on players
    • Resonator blocks rendering incorrectly
    • Alien animations do not smoothly transition between one another like they used to
    • Any other rendering bugs not listed here
  • There are also some fixes for structure generation:
    • Please note that while marines no longer spawn naturally in human structures, there will still be marines that spawn in/around the structures with preset spawn points. This change was made to prevent infinite marine exploits.
